Frequently asked questions

How fast can you deliver?

Same-day drop-off and setup is often possible, including evenings and weekends. Message us your postcode and we'll tell you the earliest slot.

Do I need to empty it?

No. Our dehumidifiers have a built-in pump, so there's no tank to empty. We run the drain hose to a sink, drain or outside when we set up.

Is it noisy?

About as loud as a fridge-freezer or a quiet fan. You'll hear it in the same room, but most people are fine with it running in another room overnight.

How much power does it use?

Commercial units typically draw around 1 kW to 1.5 kW while running, similar to a small fan heater. We'll confirm the figure for the exact unit we bring.

Can it run on site at 110V?

Yes. We have both 110V and 230V units. Tell us which supply you have and we'll bring the right one.

How long will drying take?

It depends on the job. We take moisture readings when we set up and check again as we go, and we only collect when the readings show it's dry.
